Amentum is seeking a Production Control Clerk for North of Las Vegas, NV. The Production Control Clerk position will report to the Production Control Supervisor.  Responsibilities will include:

  • Central point of contact for work reception, receive, validate, prioritize, process all work requests, and provide statuses as needed to requestors.
  • Validate requestors are Facility Managers or alternates and authorized to report work orders.
  • Prioritize and classify all new work based on established procedures.  Notify shop personnel of urgent and emergency work requests.
  • Assist supervisors and shop foremen with managing and planning of work.
  • Assist with completing work orders when foremen are unavailable.
  • Create and modify travel reservations for employees.
  • Provide Maximo system support and basic user training to shop foremen.
  • Assist in scheduling work and utility outages.
  • Research inquiries for work order history from all internal and external customers.
  • Track and maintain logs for Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), pest control, and work order updates.
  • Assist Buyers with procurement actions by creating work orders for quotes and supplies.
  • Provide transportation updates, weather advisories, and operational notifications
  • Approve work orders in the absence of supervisors, including high-priority requests.
  • Perform all other position related duties as assigned.
     

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)  
  • Excellent organizational, attention to details and time management skills
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license and be able to operate a government general-purpose vehicle.
  • Position will require the ability to pass and maintain a Top-Secret Security Clearance. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year experience working on a U.S. Government contract
  • Experience working in MAXIMO (or similar CMMS system)

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS

Work is typically performed in an office environment.  Employees must be willing to travel to remote locations and must be able to climb stairs on a routine basis. 

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation Details:

$33.87
