Purpose and Scope:

Works directly with the Deputy Program Manager Operations to develop plans and forecast program-wide production requirements for all functions in support of AMIC and USAF goals and targets.  Provides detailed analysis of production goals and program maintenance activity to sites, PMO and the Government. Provides periodic production-related briefings to the Program Manager and customer.  Assists functional area managers in planning, analysis and prioritizing activities.  Carries out all duties in accordance with ISO 9001 Quality and Safety Standards.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Develop plans and forecasts program-wide production requirements for all functions in support of USAF goals and targets.
  • Assists Functional Leads in developing strategies to best execute the direction and desires of the customer.
  • Prioritizes and communicates production requirements to the sites based on customer needs.
  • Plans, schedules, facilitates production teleconference briefs with customer, sites and Functional Leads as necessary.
  • Reviews, authors, and revises work instructions, SOPs, support agreements, ROMS and other guidelines.
  • Provides manpower calculations based on site input, translates into manning requirements for baseline, special requirements.
  • Assists Functional Leads with developing/improving web page portals including training, updates and changes.
  • Reviews, analyzes production reports for accuracy/completeness and makes recommendations, corrections, and improvements.
  • Tracks status of special interest items and provides technical assistance when necessary.
  • Facilitates/participates in conflict resolution between sites, functional managers as necessary
  • Supervises production planners, verifying data is accurate, presented logically and follows standard company protocols.
  • Perform all other position-related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong logistics background and familiarity with USAF Logistics procedures and practices.
  • Minimum of 6-month field-based work experience with the War Reserve Materiel Program.
  • Experience of USAF logistics software packages is desired.
  • Must possess strong supervisory skills and be capable of performing management level duties as requested.
  • Computer literate with a good command of MS Office software and the ability to use any other WRM related software to achieve the duties listed.
  • Must possess a local driver’s license.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance.
  • Note: Must be a U.S. Citizen to obtain a Secret clearance.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

  • Works in normal office environment.
  • Light to moderate lifting as required carried out in an office environment.
