POSITION SUMMARY

The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the performance of work and oversight of all contract matters relating to daily operations of this contract.  The PM ensures oversight of all work requirements to ensure professional and quality services are provided to the Customer in accordance with PWS requirements, while maintaining safety as the highest priority.  The PM will have full authority to act for the Company on all contract matters relating to the contract and be the central point of contact with the Government for the performance of all work under this contract.

The PM will be available within 1 hour to meet on the installation with Government personnel as required.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Oversee airfield, port, MWR, golf course, transportation and other areas as designated within the PWS / SOW.  Oversight will include, but not be limited to scheduling of personnel / work supervision/ quality control; equipment maintenance and repair and other duties as assigned by program leadership to meet PWS and company requirements and standards.
  • Monitoring cost control, financial reports, budgeting, and overall operating costs.
  • Recommend, develop, implement, and enforce procedures/programs to increase efficiency and improve cost effectiveness to the program.
  • Ensuring adherence to company policies and government regulations.
  • Designated POC in direct oversight and subcontractor management.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Five years of experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope and complexity.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Previous supervisory experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
  • Valid US or local driver's license and US passport.
  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
  • Ability to successfully pass CENTCOM medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
  • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business Administration / Management or Engineering, based on a four-year course of study from a US or UK accredited college or university or equivalent institution.

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Experience providing excellent customer service in supporting contract responsibilities in an OCONUS environment.
  • Relevant overseas experience.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with respect to metrics and process improvement.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS

This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit / 50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 12 hours per day. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
