Amentum is seeking a detailed orientated and customer focused Property & Leasing Officer to support the delivery of residential leasing and property services for our clientele.

Working under the direction of the Property & Leasing Manager, this role is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of leasing activities, tenant support, and administrative functions. The position plays a key role in ensuring efficient service delivery, accurate documentation, and a positive experience for residents throughout their housing journey. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in identifying and maintaining a current list of suitable rental properties within approved market ranges
  • Liaise with local real estate agents to gather property availability and leasing information
  • Coordinate, schedule and facilitate property inspections for prospective residents
  • Support the preparation and review of lease documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Assist in tracking lease terms, expirations, and key milestones
  • Act as a point of contact for resident enquiries and provide timely responses to housing-related questions
  • Support incoming residents with relocation and initial housing arrangements
  • Review lease agreements to ensure compliance with customer requirements (e.g., lease break clauses, terms, conditions)
  • Provide general guidance on leasing processes, expectations, and documentation requirements
  • Escalate complex issues to the Property & Leasing Manager as required
  • Maintain a professional and customer focused approach in all interactions
  • Assist in coordinating white goods requirements based on resident needs
  • Liaise with approved vendors to arrange delivery and installation of items
  • Track vendor activities to ensure services are completed as scheduled
  • Report any issues or delays to the Property & Leasing Manager
  • Conduct property condition inspections, record and document findings and carry out any follow up actions as required
  • Support onboarding activities for new residents
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as directed
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation support for new arrivals
  • Attend relevant training to enhance knowledge base for legislative requirements and developments within the industry

QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Essential

  • Current Real Estate Licence/Registration (QLD)

Desirable

  • Previous experience in administration, property or customer service roles
  • Experience working in a structured or compliance driven environments
  • Exposure to vendor coordination or service delivery environments

Minimum Essential

  • Valid unrestricted C Drivers Licence (QLD)

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS – Minimum Essential

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in property leasing, real estate, or property administration
  • Strong client service skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • High level of administrative capability and proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a team or unsupervised

WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS

Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.

STATEMENT OF WORK REQUIREMENTS

All personnel assigned to work shall be:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Able to fluently read, write and speak English

EHS REQUIREMENT

All Amentum personnel are responsible for understanding and complying with all site environmental, health and safety requirements. While Amentum is responsible for providing a safe workplace and is responsible for ensuring compliance with requirements of the EHS Handbook, each person is responsible for:

  • Completing work tasks in a safe manner
  • Reporting any unsafe acts or conditions to their supervisor and/or PMO/EHS Manager
  • Continuous adherence to the environmental, health and safety procedures outlined in the EHS Handbook during the performance of their work
  • Red-Carding a Job - Employee right and responsibility to “STOP WORK” if a job is unsafe or possess a danger to the environment

Please note: This position is contingent upon the formal award of the contract to our organization. Employment offers will only be finalized once the contract has been awarded and all necessary approvals have been received.

       

Compensation Details:

AUS: $80,000- $90,000 AUD

Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
