Amentum is currently searching for a summer intern Propsoal Specialist to work in our Aiken, SC office.

The intern Proposal Assistant will be responsible for:

Under direct supervision, complete marketing assignments requiring independent evaluation and application of advanced theories and principles. Assist in interpreting RFPs to include proposal format, technical, performance, manpower, organization, and proposal risk requirements. Assist in proposal writing and presentation. Assist in implementing client relations programs. Analyze and present data for purpose of evaluations. Establish and follows a disciplined proposal process. Serve as a focal point for the development, updating and archiving of past performance data. Demonstrate the ability to organize, process and present information. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
US Citizen

student pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in the field of proposal development/management and entering Junior or Senior year in 2025/2026

Must be highly proficient with word-processing and integrated software applications.

Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills are required.

Preparation or information for management presentation is required.
