About the Opportunity Amentum South Africa (Pty) Ltd, in Cape Town, who predominately work in the Nuclear (Energy) Industry for Eskom, have carried out numerous engineering, procurement and construction contracts to support operations for the South African public electricity utility. At Koeberg Nuclear Power Station in Cape Town, our projects range from providing additional spent fuel cooling capacity, station blackout mitigation and new hydrogen production and bulk storage plant, through to replacing the Data Acquisition system and Fire Detection system
Our largest single contract to date is for essential engineering modifications to allow for power uprate associated with the installation of new steam generators. This is part of a $1.2 billion (ZAR 20 billion) program for a 20-year life extension at Koeberg, which is South Africa’s sole nuclear power plant and generates 5% of the country’s electricity.
We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Administrator experienced in highly regulated industry with a passion for Nuclear level quality assurance guaranteed through coaching and participation to help achieve successful delivery of our portfolio of on-site, Electro / Mechanical, EPC projects. Key skills and responsibilities include;
- Provide Quality Assurance Support to the Quality & Performance Manager
- Ensure local adherence to international quality management system (QMS)
- Identify Gaps in the QMS and improvement in the QMS. Prepare and Review Internal QMS Procedures
- Assist and conduct Internal QMS Audits
- Updating and maintaining of Suitably Qualified Experience Personal (SQEP) Register
- Updating of Non-Conformance Report (NCR) register and following through to NCR closure
- Verify Vendor QA details on Purchase Orders and vendor management
- QA Records andDatabook Reviews
- Creating and updating of new approved forms and templates
- Provide Coordination assistance to the Bid Manager for Potential Tenders and procedure adherence
Here's What You'll Need - Qualified in Quality (NDip, Btech or equivalent)
- Experience in ISO 9001-2015 standards
- A passion for quality assurance through engagement, coaching and participation
- Knowledge of working with a regulated industry setting beneficial
