The Senior Material Control Administrator Lead will be based at one of three Amentum sites in Iraq and serve the Operations and Maintenance Support Services (OMSS) contract in support of the U.S. Department of State. This position will be responsible for leading a team of Administrators responsible for facilitating the acquisition process and the management of services and assets cataloged within the Project’s system of record. This position will report to the Senior Property Supervisor. The duties and responsibilities listed below are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.
DUTIES:
Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring that safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
Comply with all Environmental Health & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
Establish goals and performance metrics to assess the performance of the team.
Provide daily work assignments and supervise a team of senior material control administrators in support of the project.
Develop and implement a quality control program that ensures material/service requests and support documentation provided by the customer are complete.
Provide solution-based feedback when necessary to facilitate the processing of the customer’s request.
Provide training as necessary to the customer and subordinates to improve the process
Perform accurate and timely data entry into the system of record.
Conduct periodic review of the workflow queue and report delays to leadership
Act as a liaison between the Buyer and Customer to ensure complete processing of the requisition.
Verify all applicable support documents are uploaded to the requisition prior to submitting in the workflow.
Keep the customer informed of their requisition during the acquisition process.
Generate reports as necessary to support leadership.
Maintain the authorized stock level (ASL) records and facilitate replenishment orders as required.
Collect and organize data necessary to conduct a review of the ASL
Perform analysis on excess and report results to leadership for further determination
Ensure accurate and timely cataloging of new assets and updates to existing records.
Assist with the collection of support documentation required to complete the catalog process.
Be aware of normal property procedures as it pertains to US Government property in accordance with FAR regulations.
Maintain effective, timely and respectful communication and interaction with other employees and managers and support other organizations.
Implement section priorities with logistics, procurement, and warehouse team.
Collect, analyze, and summarize data for report preparation and submit written reports.
Perform other administrative tasks including material ordering, inventory and work scheduling.
Perform additional duties and projects assigned.
REQUIRED:
Minimum Acceptable Experience Level:
Five (5) to ten (10) years’ progressive experience working in a high-volume supply management environment.
Experience with supply chain management (SCM) systems particularly in relation to accurate inventory management.
Experience and knowledge of materials-accountability, loss prevention and logistical scheduling.
Experience working independently with various functions and disciplines of supply chain and operations.
Experience with analysis and research using the MS Office Suite of programs.
Handling of U.S. Government property procedures.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated ability to achieve high standards of customer service.
Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision with a strong focus on procedural compliance and customer service.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
Strong understanding how inventory affects company contractual obligations.
Proficient in using AMRO or similar platform and cataloging software.
Knowledge of principles and processes involved in supporting contract responsibilities at an overseas facility.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Highly skilled using a computer, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
Expert communication skills (Verbal & Written) to facilitate and disseminate information.
Education: A high school diploma or GED.
Passport, Licenses and Certifications: As part of pre-contingency requirements, by the time the visa process starts, candidates must possess a valid passport with a minimum of 18 months remaining to expiration date with 8 blank pages. Valid drivers’ license from Home of Record.
Security Vetting: Already possess a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required certification level for the duration of the contract.
Language Skills: Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements and to adhere and comply with safety, health, and security measures.
Medical: Successfully complete and pass the medical and dental examinations as required by Amentum and our customer for deployment to Iraq. Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
DESIRED:
Previous out of home country experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions are a plus.
Successful completion of a two or four-year curriculum from an accredited college or university leading to an Associate’s or Bachelor's degree in supply-chain or logistics management
Experience working with Amentum.

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS:
This position may be located in a war zone, in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120- 130 degrees Fahrenheit/50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment, as well as willing and able to deploy to Iraq for extended periods. Work schedules are a minimum of 6 days per week and 10 hours per day, while some jobs have higher daily and weekly minimums. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time and being capable of running and ‘duck & cover’ during emergencies without putting oneself or others at risk.
