Role Title: Senior Principle: Systems, Security, and Innovation (Critical Infrastructure)

Systems, Security, Innovation: Our cyber, data, system integration, and physical security specialists work across Defence, Security & Intelligence, and Critical Infrastructure to design, develop, implement, assure, and manage the delivery of highly complex digital solutions. We work across the full project and sustainment lifecycle to deliver enhanced outcomes to our clients.

Role Description: Snr Principle: Systems, Security, and Innovation (Critical Infrastructure) is a key leadership position within the regional SS&I business. The role will support the strategy and growth of the SS&I business, which spans the whole of Defence and Critical National Security.  Specifically, this role will be primarily focussed on leading, delivering for, and growing the Critical Infrastructure sector, within the broader SS&I markets.  Key focus areas include water, energy, communications, and transport.

Essential Requirements:

  • The role will be required to span three key role needs: 1) Growth (developing and winning business), 2) Practice Development (growing and leading a high-performing team to deliver quality work for clients, and fostering long-term relationships with same), 3) Delivery Excellence (hands-on, ‘billable’ work).
  • The role will also ensure our talented professionals are globally and regionally connected, engaged, and inspired to solve our client’s most significant and challenging problems. The role will create an inclusive and dynamic, creating space for innovation and encouraging and inspiring teams to challenge the accepted and uses the power of diverse thinking to bring bold solutions to our clients. 

In more detail, and in addition to the above, the role will not only deliver innovative outcomes that provide superior value to our clients, but they will also be expected to:

  • Contribute to, and assure the quality of project delivery, client relationships, and related outputs throughout project/program lifecycles
  • Develop and maintain specific growth strategy, client, opportunity, and pursuit planning activities
  • Drive innovation and challenge across strategic focus areas relevant to discipline
  • Support in identifying potential recruits and participating in strategic recruitment 
  • Provide leadership in Sales and actively participate in Client engagement and business development opportunities in pursuit of future work for the business
  • Support the Growth and Sales team(s) through the development of innovative solutions and win themes to differentiate proposals 
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate the technical risk exposure to the business by ensuring adequate controls are identified and applied to risks in both Sales and Project Delivery.
  • Collaborate with and support the broader Amentum cohort to bring the best of the Firm to bear on every opportunity and project undertaken across the business
  • Support the future direction of the practice, based on future-focused insights and thought leadership, aligned to SS&I overall strategy.

Desirable Requirements:

  • Support leadership in development and maintenance of relevant career and delivery frameworks, to suit the evolving needs of the disciplines
  • Support development and maintenance of relevant Training frameworks

Required Security Clearance Level: Able to achieve NV-1 as required

Location: Any of Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Canberra

Weekly Hours: 40
