Amentum has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Senior Project Control Analyst - Pricing to support the Project Delivery team in Alice Springs, NT – Australia.

THE ROLE
PURPOSE AND SCOPE
This role requires an experienced project controls professional with a demonstrated track record in task order planning, cost and schedule integration, and developing repeatable frameworks that scale across complex government programs. The Senior Project Control Analyst - Pricing is a key member of the Project Delivery organization within Amentum's Project Controls team, and will be primarily responsible for providing task order pricing support and overseeing pricing development from on-site project controls staff for task orders and work orders.
Additionally, this role will be responsible for formalizing a structured, well-documented pricing process encompassing bottom-up cost estimating, basis of estimate documentation, estimating standards, basis of estimate templates, pricing guidance, scoping document frameworks, and the training materials necessary to establish a consistent, repeatable methodology from RFP issuance through vendor award.
This role provides ownership of the project controls task order process, including support and oversight of task order scoping documents, schedule development, incorporating risk analysis, and vendor and subcontractor cost integration, ensuring full cost and schedule alignment throughout the proposal process prior to submission. The Senior Project Control Analyst - Pricing will mentor and train project controls staff and provide training to proposal and support organizations as necessary. This role works in close collaboration with the finance team to ensure cost estimates, rates, and pricing assumptions are accurate, compliant, and aligned with contract requirements.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees and supports task order pricing development from on-site project controls staff for task orders and work orders, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with contract requirements
Reviews and provides guidance on bottom-up cost estimates, cost models, pricing narratives, and basis of estimate documentation developed by the project controls staff on-site
Oversees the development of task order scoping documents, ensuring scope, schedule, and cost are fully integrated and aligned prior to submission
Reviews and validates the incorporation of risk analysis into the pricing process, ensuring cost and schedule contingencies are appropriately identified and sized
Oversees the integration of vendor and subcontractor quotes into the pricing model, ensuring all estimates are documented, traceable, and aligned with the task order schedule
Collaborates with the finance team to ensure cost estimates, rates, indirect burdens, and pricing assumptions are accurate, compliant, and consistent with contract requirements
Performs quality assurance reviews of cost and price volume components to ensure responsiveness to solicitation requirements and compliance with FAR, DFARS, and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Builds and formalizes the end-to-end task order development process within the Project Controls team, developing estimating standards, basis of estimate templates, pricing guidance, and scoping document frameworks
Develops training materials and process documentation to establish a consistent, repeatable methodology from RFP issuance through vendor award
Mentors and trains project controls staff, and provides training to proposal and support organizations as necessary
Interfaces with Projects & Construction, Business Operations, and Functional Support groups to obtain and develop data necessary for pricing and proposal development
Ensures all proposal and task order documentation is maintained in accordance with current document control processes

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Understanding of proposal development and strategy that includes contract cost and pricing principles
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to review and write pricing narrative responses
Extensive knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)
Working knowledge of U.S. Government structure and agency acquisition procedures and policies
Extensive knowledge of the components of basis of estimates
Demonstrated expertise in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) implementation and reporting per EIA-748 guidelines and ability to scale best practices
Strong analytical skills with ability to develop and maintain integrated cost and schedule baselines
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Essential
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related discipline
Minimum of ten (10) years of experience in Project Controls supporting large-scale government-funded programs or contracts
Minimum of five (5) years of experience with Primavera P6
Desirable
Three (3) years of leadership/supervisory experience
WORK ENVIRONMENT, PHYSICAL DEMANDS, AND MENTAL DEMANDS
Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 10kgs, kneeling, standing and walking, routinely sitting and constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, and must be able to work under deadlines.

At least 18 years of age
Able to fluently read, write and speak English
USA citizen with TS/SCI clearance or ability to obtain appropriate level of security clearance
Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities to produce a large volume of high-quality material with keen attention to detail
Must be able to work extended hours, often with short notice, to meet deadlines
