Senior Technician - Tech IV
In this role you will be responsible for installing and maintaining electronic security systems. Performing preventive maintenance requirements. Performing inspections, evaluations, and inventory. Providing on-site project oversight of installation work being completed
Essential responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to:
- Leading teams on Small, Medium, and Large installation projects with limited supervision.
- Manage and Mitigate Subcontractors and Local Support Teams.
- Provide direct interface and communication with the customer.
- Properly be able to identify, manage, and mitigate project related issues.
- Leading and documenting daily toolbox talks and Safety Audits.
- Installing and Maintaining equipment at both the local and global level per design packages.
- Programming and Installation of head end equipment for Access Control, Intrusion Detection and CCTV systems.
- Troubleshooting and isolating both systems and/or hardware at both a local and global level.
- Lead the on-site software commissioning and testing.
- Lead inspections, evaluations, and inventory
- Performing Take off project drawings
- Create, Document and Track RFIs.
- Design assist and feedback
- Documenting daily reports and project progress.
- Communicating project and team member issues/concerns to management
- Create and manage Project schedule
- Integration of IDS, ACS and CCTV systems
- Forecast and Manage Project Labor Hours
- Communicate effectively with Supervisors and Subordinates
- Guide and Mentor Technicians
Position/Candidate Requirements:.
- Requires a Valid driver's license.
- Selected candidates must possess an acceptable driving record.
- A valid Passport with the ability to travel 75% to 85% of the year (EMEA Wide)
- Education
- Graduation from an accredited Electronics Technician program or
- Graduation from an Electrical Apprenticeship program or
- Three (3) years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities
- Required Progressive Experience:
- 10+ years of electronics installation and/or maintenance activities on multiple systems and with multiple customer programs
- The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English, with strong Oral, Written and Presentation Skills.
- Demonstrated background working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated time management and organization skills to meet deadlines and quality objectives.
- Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint Skills is a plus.

Abilities:
- Lifts at least 100 pounds at one time and 60 pounds for an extended period of time.
- Relocates a 12 foot step ladder without assistance.
- Work independently with little or no supervision.
- Works at various heights up to 60 feet and can climb and maintain balance on scaffolds, aerial lifts, catwalks and all types of ladders.
- Walks, climbs, lifts, squats, crawls, kneels, pushes, pulls and reaches overhead on a routine and repetitive basis.
- Possess good vision (may be corrected vision), the ability to see in color, and the ability to hear and communicate in English.
- May use a standard ladder without exceeding the weight limit while carrying tools.
- Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem.
- Apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
- Combine pieces of information to form general rules or conclusions (including finding a relationship among seemingly unrelated events).
