In this role, the successful candidate will assist in delivering environmental solutions for both private and government sector clients, particularly on hazardous waste sites. Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include leading and managing remediation projects, developing and implementing remedial action plans, overseeing earthwork components, conducting site assessments and field activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing technical reports, mentoring junior staff, interacting with clients and agencies, and staying updated on industry best practices.
Qualifications
Minimum required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degrees with 12-yr experience, Master’s degrees with 10 yr experience, or PhD degrees with 8-yr experience. Experience in environmental remediation projects, with a background in earthwork is preferred; Active PE or PG licensure in good standing is preferred but individuals with the ability to obtain professional licensure will also be considered. Experience managing complex projects and navigating regulations, proficiency with environmental software and tools, understanding of geotechnical principles and remediation techniques, , excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills are also essential for the selected candidate. A 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification is preferred. A valid driver's license is required as is a willingness to travel.
Compensation:
The anticipated compensation range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 depending upon skills, experience, education and professional certification status.
Work Environment:
The role combines office work with periodic field assignments that may require occasional travel with overnight stays. Strict safety protocols and procedures are in place to promote a safe and productive work environment for all employees.
