Job Summary:

  • As the Subject Matter Expert (SME), this position is fully responsible for the development of the Innovation and Technology Roadmap and Initiating/facilitating improvements across business line and/or a portfolio of programs. This role also serves as a business line consultant for RFPs and RFIs, and high visibility initiatives, including Process Automation, AI, and Robotics and may serve in solution architecture roles with responsibilities from concept through implementation as needed. The SME will be responsible for creation of various artifacts to support key initiatives and may be required to participate in other aspects of the project(s), including preparing for and facilitating technical reviews. Additional responsibilities may include participation in the development or review of Preliminary and Critical designs, Phase Gates, In-process reviews, and Program Management Reviews in addition to routine Project Management communication, status, and task management meetings. The SME will operate in a matrix environment with cross-functional support and will also consult with other divisions within the business line in specialty areas of expertise.

Job Location:

  • This position is a remote position with travel anticipated 25%.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide the knowledge and expertise in a specific subject, business area, or technical area for a project or program.
  • Define procedures or standards, using the knowledge of what the right or best way to execute a task would be; and recommend procedural improvements.
  • Develop performance objectives, determining acceptable performance levels.
  • Comprehend the language, term, and jargon in area of expertise; and understand required knowledge needed to determine effective decision-making being able to describe where inconsistencies, irregularities, or flaws may occur.
  • Assure area of expertise is clearly explained to others and serves as liaison within a department or function for questions and problems within the area of expertise.
  • Assure facts and details are correct so that the project, program, or portfolio’s deliverables will meet the needs of appropriate parties.
  • Provide technical expertise to RFP and RFI initiatives within business line pipeline including pre and post sales meetings, briefings, and technical material.
  • Support the business line by participating in key proposal initiatives as needed. Support may include, but is not limited to, solutioning, technical writing, volume lead, writing support, SME consulting, and various color team roles.
  • Support the definition of processes and policies, supply business rules and procedures, and communicate the contexts in which the rules, processes and polices are applied.
  • Represent a business line or division’s needs to the project team.
  • Validate the requirements and deliverables that describe product(s) or service(s); tests the product(s) or service(s) near the end of the project or program, using and evaluating it for accuracy and usability; and provide feedback to the project team.
  • Provide input for the design and construction of test cases and scenarios and may validate executed test results.
  • Give input into and execute user documentation and training materials.
  • Guide others working on a project to ensure the content is accurate. Resolve issues relevant to project deliverable(s) within the area of expertise.
  • Obtain or provide approval for changes to rules, processes, and policies.
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt required, Master Black Belt preferred
  • ITIL Expert, ITIL Master preferred
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) required
  • OSHA-30 required
  • Minimum of 12 years of relevant working experience
  • Must have an Active TOP SECRET or SECRET US GOVERNMENT Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Power Platform suite
  • Strategic Leadership and Innovation
  • Experience with ITSM deployment and lifecycle management
