Amentum is seeking a Subject Matter Expert to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in Washington, D.C. With options of other locations such as West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Newport News, VA.

Responsibilities: specific responsibilities and functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supports the Deputy Director, CI. Advises DOE CI managers complex-wide; provides guidance in planning, implementation, execution and coordination of various CI activities
  • Provides support regarding compliance with applicable USIC national security laws, executive orders, policies, procedures and guidelines
  • Supports the mandate to develop a national CI Program
  • Participates in/conducts briefings in support of the DOE CI mission, goals, and objectives.

Requirements

  • Must possess a current Department of Energy Q security clearance and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college. Advanced degree such as a Master's Degree or Law Degree is preferred as it adds a higher degree of expertise to the program
  • 20 years of experience, including 5 years of management experience, with a demonstrated emphasis on counterintelligence (CI) collection, reporting, analysis, investigations, operations, near-term and long- term strategic planning.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge of the United States Intelligence Community (USIC), its authorities, functions, responsibilities, and mission.
