The contractor shall attend, plan, organize, and prepare briefing materials and prepare and disseminate meeting minutesanalysis reports and documentation for test and evaluation integrated process team meetings. Meetings include Test and Evaluation Integrated Process Teams (T&E IPT), executive/splinter T&E IPT groups, Reliability, Availability and Maintainability (RAM) planning groups, Proof of Principal Demonstrations, Test Readiness Reviews, Scoring/Assessment conferences, Test Incident Reviews, and corrective action conferences. The principal meetings are Test Readiness Reviews and Test and Evaluation (T&E) IPT meetings. The contractor shall attend Scoring/Assessment conferences and Test Incident Reviews to assess program progress as formalized testing events are conducted and completed.
• The contractor shall provide test execution planning, to include monitoring of location and status of test assets and equipment, repair parts, test support equipment condition/readiness, and government furnished material, resources and supplies for all PM MPF programs.
• The contractor shall report on vehicle testing, provide daily written reports, attend and report on test related meetings, and attend administrative activities such as scheduling and site preparation at the test site location
• The contractor shall communicate test results between PM locations and contractors and Government agencies at APG, MD and YPG, AZ.The contractor shall track progress of all test site incident reports through utilization of the Vision Digital Library System (VDLS) and report issues that could delay PM MPF fielding dates.
• The contractor shall review all test incidents and determine the impact of proposed corrective actions on vehicles and their test programs.
• The contractor shall attend management/technical meetings with Developmental Test Command (DTC), Army Test Center (ATC), Army Evaluation Command (AEC), Army Research Labs (ARL) and other APG/YPG organizations. The contractor shall communicate via phone and email.
Qualifications:
Associate’s degree from an accredited educational university.
Minimum 15 years specialized experience in working with/on tracked or wheeled ground combat vehicles in military or civilian capacity, working directly with PM offices, and working onsite at military installations.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level security clearance.
Essential Functions
Work Environment
Generally an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Outside work may include various environmental conditions including warm and cold climates. Needs to be able to work well with co-workers, customer, and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions.
Physical Requirements
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.
Equipment and Machines
Ability to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, printer, copy machine, telephone, fax machine and other equipment including desk supplies and other work related tools as required.
Attendance
Regular hours will be between Monday - Friday 0700 - 1700. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important, but not critical, except for deadlines and meetings. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.
Other Essential Functions
Must demonstrate professional behavior at all times when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer’s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
