Amentum is looking for a Training and Services Division Manager located in Williamsburg, VA. The Manager has overall management responsibility for the successful operation of their team to include a Housekeeping & Janitorial Dept., Food Service Dept., Logistics Dept., Motor Pool Dept., and ancillary services. The Manager is also responsible for the performance of an integrated administrative staff that coordinates training, conferences, and events. The Manager is responsible for implementation and adherence to Amentum company and program policies and procedures as well as ensuring all contract deliverables are achieved. This person shall represent Amentum in a positive and professional manner by being experienced in leading meetings, presentations, team building, process improvement and quality management.

Job Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with or knowledge of managing employees that are subject to McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act (SCA employees).
  • Proficient in the use of the MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
  • Highly proficient in the use of MS PowerPoint to build professional presentations for internal and external audiences.
  • Highly proficient in use of MS Visio or other diagramming software to create process flow maps.
  • Highly organized and motivated individual capable of multitasking various duties, projects, and deliverables.
  • Experience with process improvement and quality management methodologies to quantifiably improve and measure department performance. Six Sigma or similar certification is a positive.
  • Act as the customers Point of Contact (POC) for questions or issues.
  • Responsible for coordinating employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
  • Strong understanding of metrics and how to build KPIs for all business areas.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have an Active TS/SCI with poly government clearance issued clearance at time of application.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a relevant discipline with 5 years’ applicable experience or bachelor’s degree in non-related discipline with 10 years of applicable experience.
  • In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, may have a minimum of 15 years of management experience overseeing a minimum of 100 employees across a multiple department. Food service, hospitality, or logistics experience is a plus.
