About the opportunity:

We are seeking a talented Virtualization Engineer to manage and optimize our virtualized infrastructure for the Network Enhancement project. You will be responsible for the design, implementation, and testing of VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV environments, including hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions. This is a part-time role that is fully remote but may require occasional travel to Saudi Arabia.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Design, implement, and test VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV environments.
• Design, implement, and test hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions.
• Ensure the performance, availability, and security of virtualized systems.
• Monitor resource utilization and conduct capacity planning.
• Troubleshoot and resolve virtualization-related issues.
• Automate tasks and processes using scripting or other tools.
• Stay current with the latest virtualization technologies and trends.
• Conduct advanced cluster management, failover testing, and backup integration.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in managing and supporting VMware vSphere environments.
• Experience with Nutanix AHV and hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI).
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and best practices.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Relevant certifications (VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP) are preferred.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with sub-contractors and manage project deliverables.
• Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.
