Purpose: The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for oversight of all stock control, inventory management, material sorting/identification/retrograde/warehousing in support of assigned program.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervises, schedules, and instructs warehouse personnel to perform proper work techniques and procedures to support Statement of Work requirements.
  • Coordinates with Warehouse Managers and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Supervises preparation of material control and accounting input for data processing and review output documents.
  • Inspects and evaluates inventory management activities.
  • Oversees distribution and filing of receipt, issue, turn-in, and salvage records.
  • Reviews work order data for accuracy and efficiency as it relates to production, work schedules, consumption of material, quality control, product specifications and other aspects of production.
  • Prepares reports on materials, supplies, equipment availability, storage space, and relocation of material.
  • Supervises, researches, and then prepares documentation to support inventory management reports and proper classification of materials.
  • Uses US Army Logistic Information Systems (LIS) and Global Combat Service and Support Army (GCCS-A), to manage maintenance and logistics projects.
  • Checks specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders.
  • Produces reports to include, but not limited to, Critical Parts Listings, 02 Due-In Listings.
  • Ensures strict compliance to safety practices and support the Safety Policies and Procedures.
  • Instills a safety-first mentality within respective work areas and a culture that achieves low accident rates and minimal lost-time injuries.
  • Adheres to ISO Policies, Procedures, and Work Instructions in support of Quality Management System.
  • Performs all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience:

  • 6 years of military and/or civilian logistics experience (such as PC/ERPs Clerk with GCSS-A Plant 2000, or Logistics Supervisor with Production Control experience)
  • Experience in cargo documentation, logistical movement control, and supervising freight customs, receipt, storage, and issue, required.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Must have knowledge of asset management, warehouse processes, and distribution administration
  • Must have the ability and knowledge in analyzing and evaluating logistics management information system.
  • Expert user of GCSS-A and/or other Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Must have an intermediate level of proficiency in the use of MS Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Must have progressive written and oral communications skills.
  • Must have strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to work and communicate with others effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in logistics or management preferred.
  • International driver’s license prior to deployment preferred.

Certification, License & Clearance:

  • Valid US Driver’s license required.
  • US Citizenship required.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a CAC, if required.

Facility credentials/authorization required:

Must be able to obtain and maintain facility and credential /authorization:

Note- US Citizenship is required for facility credential/authorization at this work location.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

  • Ability to perform job duties efficiently and effectively.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
  • Must be able to work in extreme environmental conditions including dust and high temperatures.
  • Must be able to endure long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
  • When performing work, responsible for adhering to environmental, safety, and health standards related to the activity, including the wearing of all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
