Amentum is seeking a dynamic Women, Peace & Security Operations Planner with planning and administrative experience supporting Women, Peace, and Security operations. This position will directly support U.S. Indo-Pacific Command (USINDOPACOM) at Camp H.M. Smith, Hawaii.

Specific duties include:
- Assist in the management of the Office of WPS operations, activities, and investments to include knowledge management, coordination, and program monitoring.
- Assist WPS Director/Command WPS Advisor with development of WPS strategy, plans, and program initiatives, including strategic messaging.
- Develop and manage WPS social media activities, including drafting press releases and coordinating Public Affairs for publication.
- Facilitate and manage internal USINDOPACOM WPS training, such as the WPS Focal Point Course and WPS Advisor Course, including all related curriculum knowledge management and monitoring and evaluation.
- Provide direct planning support and execution of key leader or interagency engagements for USINDOPACOM Senior Leaders on WPS-related issues.
- Develop written products such as talking points, information papers, and oral presentations for Command leadership.
- Shared administrative support: calendar scheduling and management; MS Teams, Sharepoint, and Shared Drive folder management/knowledge management.
- Coordinate workshop/conference support including logistics, developing content, participating as a speaker, panelist, etc.
- Serve as representative for posture efforts related to the Philippines, specifically around local risk reduction and community outreach/engagement, in coordination with Posture team, Components, and Armed Forces of the Philippines.
- Coordinate with J5 sub-regional policy offices and security cooperation officers to effectively mainstream WPS into regional and country engagement plans and within operations, activities, and investments conducted with partner nations, in coordination with the WPS SC Integrator.
- Assist with the design, planning, and delivery of WPS security cooperation engagements led by the Office of WPS and/or in support of Component WPS Advisors/WPS Focal Points implementation.
- Assist the WPS Office in the development and coordination of WPS strategic messages with partner nations and manage related social media and coordination with USINDOPACOM and Embassy Public Affairs.
- Assist with Assessment, Monitoring, and Evaluation (AM&E) of WPS program efforts to include security cooperation.
- Serve as USINDOPACOM Combating Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) Program coordinator to ensure compliance with federal and DoD regulations; coordinate across Component Military Criminal Investigative Organizations to include leading the quarterly CTIP working group; monitor & consolidate annual data reporting.
- Attend and provide input to cross-functional planning and working groups to ensure WPS perspectives are considered in USINDOPACOM’s civil-military coordination and operations.
- Coordinate with Command’s WPS Focal Points to build and promote internal capabilities and collaboration in mainstreaming WPS considerations within USINDOPACOM.
- Coordinate with multi-stakeholders, such as other federal agencies, civil society, academia, and foreign government and civilian partners to advance effective, whole of society WPS integration that achieves USINDOPACOM objectives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business (or related field) from an accredited college or university
- Must possess Top-Secret clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance
- At least one year experience in USINDOPACOM Women, Peace & Security
- Three years' experience working in the USINDOPACOM AOR
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to provide information, written reports, and presentations to include delivering executive summaries to flag and general officers (FO/GO) and Senior Executive Service (SES) level equivalents
- Experience with teaching/instruction of students and public speaking
- Knowledge of Indo-Pacific region and USINDOPACOM Strategy
- Experience in operational and/or strategic levels of DoD planning and/or execution
- Must possess the ability to coordinate and integrate the work of others, to keep initiatives focused, to assess the effectiveness of efforts and programs, and recommend adjustment(s) to program priorities and allocated resources
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Occasional travel to the continental United States and overseas to attend meetings, workshops, and trainings
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university
- Three years’ experience in Women, Peace, and Security
- Five years’ experience in the Indo-Pacific AOR
The salary range for this position is $125K to $145K. (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
