Duties include:

  • Active role in performing DR/CT X-Rays, summarizing test results, and providing reports.
  • Translate hands on experience to find technological solutions to improve processes and procedures
  • Make technical decisions based on skills and training in the use of test equipment and associated systems
  • Notify and discuss technical problems with engineering personnel, contractors, or other government representatives as necessary

Minimum Requirements:

  • Vocational/technical training beyond high school in radiography
  • 2-3 years of experience performing DR/CT X-ray Scans 
  • Prior experience with Ionizing radiation safety and handling 
  • Understanding and utilization of laboratory safety practices, including chemical safety
  • Ability to engage with a multidisciplinary team of technicians, scientists, and engineers
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong written communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to perform detail-oriented work are required.
  • Ability to identify and support opportunities for process improvements through fixture design and integrating new techniques
  • Ability to pass and maintain a DoD Security Clearance (Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a clearance)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2- year degree in radiography
  • 3+ years of working experience in the field of Radiography
  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in laboratory environments, including operation of microscopes and other analytical equipment 
  • Basic knowledge of microelectronic construction and materials
