Amentum is seeking an Analyst Computer Systems Engineer with a background in Navy major weapon, combat, and/or fire control systems program, cybersecurity fundamentals, and Risk Management Framework (RMF). Analyst Computer Systems Engineer Responsibilities Include:
Providing and supporting engineering program/project management activities including program and project risk management such as risk identification, risk analysis, risk handling, risk monitoring and risk reporting.
Assisting Customer in performing planning and engineering analysis for the evolution of assigned projects.
Providing assistance in the definition and maintenance of top-level system architecture and program engineering requirements and shall assist in the translation of those requirements into system concepts and plans from a cybersecurity perspective.
Preparing and documenting security inputs for operational afloat and ashore systems throughout the system's life cycle. Documentation required or products produced may include System Engineering Plans (for both individual systems and systems of systems), Concept of Operations (CONOPS), RMF, and Platform IT (PIT) Designations.
Identifying and categorizing sensitive information that requires protection to maintain technological advantages, operational security, and program effectiveness.
Performing and document requirements analysis, risk analysis, technology assessments or other security-related studies.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline, or four (4) years of a demonstrated knowledge base and subject matter expertise relevant to specific technical disciplines of the SOW, including the qualifications below; or US Naval operational experience at the E7 level or higher.
ADDITIONAL SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE FOR THIS LABOR CATEGORY REQUIRES CONCURRENT EXPERIENCE THAT SHALL BE DEMONSTRATED IN THE FOLLOWING SUBCATEGORY.
Computer Systems Engineer – Six (6) years of full-time professional experience in systems engineering. Two of these years must have been full-time experience at the system level in any of the following areas: requirements definition, system design parameters, concepts operation, risk assessment, producibility studies/analyses, performance analyses, test and evaluation, and post-delivery support.
Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance.
Preferred qualification:
Current or previous Navy Qualified Validator (NQV).
