The work schedule for this role is Monday-Friday, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, however, various hours may be required based on business demand.
As a Asset Management Material Handler, you will be responsible for daily support activities, including:
Verifying the condition of incoming assets against purchase orders, documenting any damage or discrepancies
Monitoring asset movement within the facility using tracking systems and updating asset locations in the database
Handling sensitive, heavy, high value assets/equipment
Following proper procedures for retiring or disposing of outdated or damaged assets, including documentation and recordkeeping
Accurately recording asset details (serial numbers, descriptions, location) into the asset management system and applying appropriate tags
Receiving, storing, and distributing company assets within a warehouse or facility, ensuring accurate inventory tracking and proper handling of valuable equipment, often utilizing specialized knowledge of asset management systems to maintain detailed records and optimize the movement of assets
Regularly conducting physical inventory checks to ensure accuracy of asset records and address any discrepancies
Properly storing assets in designated areas based on their type and value, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment
Verifying the accuracy of quantity and quality of incoming deliveries
Labeling every product and placing them accordingly
Identifying and locating the right products during the delivery process
Keeping a well-maintained and updated account of stock and inventory
Keeping all material handling equipment in the best condition by conducting regular maintenance
Conveying purchasing requirements and keeping data on the availability of products in short supply
Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
Loading and unloading inventory from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and production areas.
Ensuring all incoming delivery matches the company purchase order.
Recording the number of units handled and moved every day using production sheets.
Complying with all safety and health regulations.
Efficient and safe use of hand tools as required.
Cleans worksites, including hauling of debris and trash to the dumpster, cleaning tools and equipment and ensuring tools, materials and equipment are stored properly.
Performs minor inspection duties of work performed or general building condition under the direction of a supervisor of a skilled trades’ person
Perform a variety of repair and tasks while directly assisting trades personnel including and not limited to replacing floor tile, light bulbs, painting, patching, and drywall repairs.
Performs preventative maintenance on equipment, light bulb changes, celling time replacement, carpet and tile repair.
Replacement both ceiling and ceramic bathroom tile
Operates various equipment to perform woodwork, furniture, and flooring.
Performs miscellaneous repair, maintenance construction, general installation, and preventative maintenance work under the direction of Supervisor or skilled trades’ person.
Make regular inspection rounds of buildings, plumbing, electrical fixtures, appliances, and major equipment.
Checks for appearance and cleanliness, structural cracks, excessive wear, and faulty parts.
Complying with Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
All work to be scheduled and completed from a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook and SharePoint
Ability to communicate clearly via phone

Excellent interpersonal skills, i.e., listening to customer needs, articulating path forward and giving solutions that provide value to the customer, etc.
Accurately document electronic and paper cataloging system to provide information to customer or regulatory personnel.
Strive for quick complaint resolution; to resolve problems on the first call and avoid escalation of issues through operational knowledge.
Minimum Requirements
3 years’ maintenance or material handling experience in one of the following trades or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and experience: General Construction, Painting, General Maintenance
Active US Drivers license
Experience operating material handling box truck, pallet stacker, forklift, lift gates, mobile elevated work platforms, mobile table lift carts
Familiarity with safety measures in dealing with material handling, skills with various material handling equipment
Excellent customer communication and customer service skills required
Ability to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use and be able to successfully complete a fit test for several types of respirators.
Ability to obtain a security access badge at our client’s location.
Ability to read and understand information contained in a variety of documents or displayed on a computer screen. Demonstrated fluency in computer use including the full Microsoft product line.
Ability to obtain an appropriate driver's license issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles, as requested.
Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization. Note: US Citizenship or Permanent Residency is required for facility credentials/authorization at this work location.

Some physical/special requirements include:
Regularly lift to 50 lbs
Regularly climb ladders, steps, and scaffolding
Repetitive motions: bend, stoop, squat, kneel, stretch, reach, wrist movement
Walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
Work at an accelerated pace in emergency conditions
Ability to differentiate colors pertaining to wire color-coding
Wear steel toe safety shoes, safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, and other Personal Protective Equipment as needed.
Cope with demands (stressors) that are associated with the job and/or the work environment.
Preferred Requirements
Technical degree preferred.
Experience working in a GMP or similar regulated environment such as hospitals, biomedical or pharmaceutical campuses
Strong organizational and attention to detail skills
Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and asset management software
Basic computer literacy and data entry skills
Ability to operate material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks
Knowledge of inventory control practices
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items
Ability to read and understand repair manuals, specifications, drawings, and schematic diagrams.
Experience working with heavy industrial or manufacturing plant steam systems, centrifugal chillers, air handling units, turbines, boilers, cooling towers, air compressors, air dryers, heat exchangers, exhaust systems, pneumatic controls, and building automation control systems.
Experience using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS); EAMS experience is a plus.
Experience interpreting a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
