About the Opportunity:

About the Opportunity: A UK-led project team, consisting of government personnel and various contractors, is engaged in delivering infrastructure and equipment support to a key client in the region. The team has recently been tasked with constructing new accommodation facilities to support one of the client’s specialized operational units. The facilities will be based in the Riyadh area and will include both living quarters and technical spaces, along with all required service and security infrastructure. rest of the week being hybrid / remote. Due to continued growth, We are seeking a skilled CAD Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and architects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings and models using CAD software.
  • Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other team members to understand project requirements and specifications.
  • Revise and update existing drawings and models based on feedback and changes.
  • Ensure all drawings and models comply with industry standards and regulations.
  • Maintain organized records of all drawings and project documentation.
  • Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to CAD software and drawings.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
  • Strong understanding of technical drawing and design principles.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in [specific industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, etc.] is a plus.
  • Knowledge of BIM (Building Information Modelling) processes.
  • Experience with 3D printing and rapid prototyping.
  • Familiarity with project management software.
