For our team in Riyadh we are seeking an experienced Clerk of Works.
Key Responsibilities: - Regularly inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
- Ensure that materials and workmanship meet the required standards and specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of site inspections, including photographs, reports, and logs of any issues or deviations from plans.
- Liaise with contractors, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues and ensure smooth project execution.
- Identify and address any problems or discrepancies on-site, proposing solutions to keep the project on track.
- Ensure that all health and safety regulations are adhered to on-site, conducting regular safety audits and reporting any concerns.
- Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on the progress of the project, highlighting any potential risks or delays.
Requirements: - A degree or diploma in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of construction processes and standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently.
- Relevant certifications in health and safety, quality control, or construction management are advantageous.
