Amentum is seeking a results-driven Deputy Program Manager for Logistics to lead and oversee joint and multinational logistics operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless integration and execution of standard and nonstandard logistics—including distribution, transportation, supply, maintenance, and regional supply chain risk management—across complex, dynamic mission environments.

You would be an excellent candidate for this position if you:

  • Possess deep experience in multinational and joint logistics operations supporting SOF and PACOM missions;
  • Demonstrate strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to implement PMBOK and logistics industry best practices across geographically dispersed operations; and
  • Excel in supporting and collaborating with the Program Manager to achieve contractual, operational, and strategic objectives.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day oversight and coordination of logistics functions supporting joint and multinational operations, including distribution, transportation, maintenance, supply chain risk mitigation, and sustainment strategies.
  • Serve as the senior logistics integrator for program activities across all SOCPAC areas of responsibility, ensuring compliance with host nation, joint, and DoD logistics policies.
  • Support the Program Manager in executing PMBOK-aligned project management and industry-recognized performance frameworks.
  • Track logistics metrics and KPIs to assess program effectiveness and ensure mission readiness.
  • Lead logistics-related planning, forecasting, and resourcing for forward and contingency operations.
  • Coordinate with U.S. and allied forces, joint logistics enterprises, and interagency partners to ensure integrated support to SOCPAC missions.
  • Prepare logistics sections of program reports, briefings, and presentations for internal leadership and government stakeholders.
  • Assist in identifying program risks and implementing mitigation strategies related to logistics and supply chain vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in acquisition planning, sourcing strategies, and operational contract support integration efforts as required.
  • Approximately 20% travel possible, both to Mainland U.S. and Allied and Partner nations, in support of conferences, planning sessions, and exercises.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (logistics, business, operations research, or related field).
  • 10+ years of logistics management experience supporting DoD operations, including joint and multinational efforts.
  • 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing large-scale logistics operations or supply chains in an expeditionary or contingency environment.
  • Prior experience supporting SOF or SOCPAC operations highly desired.
  • PMP or DAWIA Level III Program Management Certification (or equivalent).
  • Strong working knowledge of DoD logistics systems, supply chain management tools, and operational planning processes.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and logistics management platforms (GCSS-A, JOPES, LOGCAP, etc.).
  • Must have an active Top-Secret clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in logistics, operations management, or related discipline.
  • Joint logistics experience at combatant command level (PACOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, etc.).
  • Graduate of Army Command and General Staff College, SOF Logistics Course, or similar military leadership education.
  • Experience with regional partner nation coordination in INDOPACOM or similar theaters.

Compensation & Benefits

HIRING SALARY RANGE: $150K - $175K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
