While the wireless world is ever changing, the demand for innovative technology and long-term support services remains constant. These services include site acquisition, design, and construction, to full operations, maintenance, and deconstruction.
Amentum Digital Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Director of Operations. This will be a remote position in any US city.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for leading the development, execution and management of estimates, purchase planning, formation of subcontractor pricing, subcontract change management, purchasing administration and documentation functions throughout the Telecommunications line of business.
• Responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, site acquisition, engineering, procurement, construction, integration, optimization, and close-out.
• Supports the development of project budgets, reporting and provides input/updates on schedules.
• Provides leadership for the development and maintenance of a high-performance national team and ensures all customer commitments are achieved
• Provides input on prime contract reviews, subcontract formation, administration and reporting. Supports regional management with input on cost, schedule, and reporting.
• Strong oral and written communications and presentation skills with demonstrated ability to communicate, establish and sustain working relationships with customers, vendors, DBE firms, and executive leadership.

Qualifications - External
• A recognized degree in an Engineering, Accounting or STEM discipline from an accredited college or university preferred; with a minimum of 10 years of experience preferably in Telecommunications or related field.
• Experience leading the development of commercial, and strategic responses to prospective customer issued Requests for Qualifications (RFQ) and Proposal (RFP), including coordinating input from project team members, partners, subcontractors, services providers, suppliers and vendors.
• Experience in Commercial Subcontract Management.
• Must be eligible to work for any US Employer without current or future visa sponsorship.
