Selected by the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s Strategic Warning and Surveillance Systems Division for Operations, Maintenance, and Sustainment (OM&S) of critical mission systems for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) Cheyenne Mountain Complex (NCMC), we support the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II).
Since 2020, through the (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II), has provided:
• Operations, maintenance, and Sustainment of current and legacy systems for the surveillance and cataloging of manmade objects in space.
• Mitigation of orbital conflicts.
• Threat warnings and control from airborne, land-based, and space-based systems for threat activities.
• Operations and maintenance of classified communications.
• Software development and integration.
NISSC II supports the classified communications and processing for Command and Control (C2) capability and legacy space C2 systems located at:
• Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station (CMSFS), Colorado
• Peterson Space Force Base (PSFB), Colorado
• Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska
• Vandenberg Space Force Base, California
• Numerous sensor and forward operator sites around the world
Description of Duties:
The Enterprise Lifecycle Management System (ELMS) Help Desk Administrator supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). The candidate will:
• Be responsible for managing the ELMS helpdesk.
• Manage all cloud backend support that provides the connectivity from the user to the cloud presence.
• Capture metrics, apply cybersecurity patching, and troubleshoot faulty systems.
• Integrate ELMS capabilities into existing infrastructures to improve agile operations.
• Complete documentation, drawings, and instructions for customers
• Work closely with the ELMS team to update architectures, troubleshoot technical issues, and create visual layouts to display data that explains the status of the ELMS environment over a period of time.
• Ensure ELMS Helpdesk requests are managed and within SLA tolerance.
• Patch and update systems between intermediate clouds and the IBM ELMS cloud presence.
• Build accounts and create access to the ELMS environment.
• Complete health checks and logging of cloud system to ensure predictability and reliability.
• Capture metrics from ELMS system dashboards.
The successful candidate will:
• Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
This position will be filled and work onsite in Colorado Springs, CO

Basic Requirements:
• Must have 3 years of fulltime (general) work experience
• Must have 1 year of IT experience
• Must have a current DoD 8570 IAT II certification (e.g., Security+ CE)
• Must have an active DoD Secret Security Clearance
Desired Requirements:
• Have practical experience in installing/provisioning/troubleshooting/patching complex Enterprise software
• Have a BS/BA, or higher, degree
• Have experience in supporting the sustainment of NISSC mission systems/subsystems.
• Have experience with other relevant missions surrounding the NORAD Northcom, Air and Space missile, or legacy Space.
• Have experience working in scaled Agile environment frameworks such as SAFe.
• Have experience with IBM Engineering Lifecycle Management System (ELMS)
This position is expected to pay $75,000 - $80,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
