POSITION SUMMARY

Amentum, a global leader in critical mission support, engineering, technology, and national security solutions, is seeking an Escort / Monitor (E/M) to support a pending contract award based in one of several countries including: Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Jordan or Oman.

The E/M will be responsible for providing escorting / monitoring services across installation as assigned.  The E / M will perform other duties as assigned by Program leadership IAW international, US, Air Force, and PWS criteria.

BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY

  • Posting safety signage as directed per PWS
  • Conducts a head count on all sub-contracted personnel and maintain line of sight at all times.
  • Ensures that sub-contractors do not bring unauthorized items with them unless a waiver has been provided by the government.
  • Prepares and ensures that all materials entering area have been inspected by designated personnel prior to entering.  May be responsible for local procurement items required for use within the area, according to the randomized procurement methods described in relevant sections of the Foreign Affairs Manual.
  • As required, responsible for the control and safe operation of any job-related equipment and supplies.
  • Ensures worksites are secure upon completion of work and that all uncleared personnel have exited the area.
  • Prepares Incident Reports of any and all work-related problems, work orders and security incidents to the appropriate sections.
  • Performs any other items as directed or as outlined in PWS.
  • Prepares and completes all supporting documentation / reporting as required IAW international, US, Air Force, and PWS.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS

  • At least one (1) year previous escorting / monitor / security experience, preferably on a US military installation with a similar mission/project of scope and nature.
  • Previous work experience in an austere OCONUS environment with a multi-national workforce.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and customer service skills.
  • Strong computer skills to include Microsoft Office products.
  • Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain requirements for duration of deployment.
  • Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance. .

OTHER KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules and under pressure of deadlines while maintaining performance standards.

EDUCATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent

WORKING AND LIVING CONDITIONS

This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
