Oversee and provide work direction to control staff responsible for processing, reconciling, reporting, and archiving the activities and results of all physical inventories of supplies, material, and equipment under the responsibility and control of contact personal.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the management and oversite of all Government Property (GP) assigned to the current contract.
  • Preparing monthly / quarterly / annual contract, business, procurement, and equipment reports.
  • Develops plans, including budgets and schedules, and monitors tasks to meet contractual property requirements.
  • Provide technical, administrate, and operational assistance to assigned task, including contract and subcontractor management.
  • Maintain accrue accountable property records, in the Approved Government Property System. (Genesis / Maximo / ASCENT)
  • Complete all phases of Property Turn In (PTI) Process for all Departments / Branches in procession of any GP, using instructions found in Disposition, Handbook, ASCENT / GENESIS, Agencies Regulations (AR12-2), Applicable FAR Clauses 52-245-1 / 45.602-1
  • Start and complete the PTI process of any vehicle, past its serviceable life, expectations, or becomes inoperable with concurrence / request of the end user(s). Ensure removal of all PTI is completed as indicated in the PTI request, monitor the PTI request progress, and follow up with all involved parties necessary for a timely completion
  • Record and maintain accurate records ate regarding all aspects of the operability, serviceability, including local property taxes and tags.
  • Collaborate end users with end users to determine buy or lease vehicle(s)
  • Provide RFP / RFQ to Procurement with end users concurrence.
  • Request authorization to Buy / Lease from Program Manager
  • Establish Accountable Vehicle Property Records, as new vehicles are acquired. That is, Asset Number, Make/Model/Year/VIN, Assigned to / Branch, Cost, and other essential information required.
  • Contract with authorized and certified vehicle Auto Repair Services / Shops
  • Establish and maintain accurate records of registration, taxes, tags, all repairs, warranty re-calls and maintenance repairs.
  • Update Accountable Vehicle records in a timely fashion in ASCENT
  • Collect and update the Accountable Property Record of monthly milage for all GSA Leased Vehicles
  • Once approved by the Accountable Officer (AO), contact the LOC to make arrangement to deliver drive / tow the vehicle to Springfield.
  • Update the Accountable Record to reflect final disposition is complete.
  • Preform other Logistical / Asset / Property / Fleet Management related assignment(s) as assigned or requested.
  • Maintain open communication with Supplier to mitigate foreseeable issues with services provided.
  • Correct Ordering and sizing process for new employees
  • Ensuring correct “sets” and quantities are ordered as required by position job classification.
  • Maintain accurate records of hand receipts of issued uniforms. Ensure all necessary approval is granted, full signature(s) are captured, maintain update and accurate records of resizing request, replacement / repairs
  • Other Logistical related duties as assigned or tasked.

Minimum Requirements: 

  • High School diploma or equivalent 
  • Five (5) years of experience in fleet management, maintenance, or asset management
  • Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Knowledge of vehicle and equipment procurement, disposal, and asset management.
  • Familiarity with fleet management software, GPS tracking, and other relevant technologies.
  • A valid driver's license is required to operate a vehicle and/or equipment 
  • Must have an active Secret or Top Secret US Government Security Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret or Top Secret Clearance.
