About the Opportunity:

A UK-led project team, consisting of government personnel and various contractors, is engaged in delivering infrastructure and equipment support to a key client in the region. The team has recently been tasked with constructing new accommodation facilities to support one of the client’s specialised operational units. The facilities will be based in the Riyadh area and will include both living quarters and technical spaces, along with all required service and security infrastructure. rest of the week being hybrid / remote.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of all employees, contractors, and visitors within the organisation. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Policy Development: Create and update health and safety policies and procedures in line with current legislation and best practices.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Training: Organize and deliver health and safety training programs for employees and contractors.
  • Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses, and prepare reports with recommendations for prevention.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards, including maintaining records and documentation.
  • Emergency Planning: Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present health and safety performance reports to senior management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement in health and safety practices across the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with external bodies, such as regulatory authorities and health and safety consultants.


Here’s What You’ll Need:



  • NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent.
  • IOSH membership (preferably Chartered status).
  • Proven experience in a health and safety management role.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi Arabian health and safety legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and health and safety management software.
