Join our Intelligence & Cyber Business Unit as a Human Resources Manager to help shape the strategy behind our most critical asset - our people. In this role, you will be providing HR leadership to the Senior Vice Presidents (SVP’s) of two business lines and leading a HR team, driving impactful organizational change, and aligning HR strategies with business objectives to foster growth, innovation, and success in a dynamic and evolving environment.
This position requires at minimum 3 days on site.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and develop a team of HR professionals, ensuring role clarity, accountability, and alignment with business priorities across a dynamic, matrixed environment.
• Provide steady leadership through change, serving as a trusted escalation point for complex employee matters and guiding the team through shifting priorities with clarity and resilience.
• Interface confidently with HRIS platforms and spreadsheets to support data-driven decision-making, reporting, and process execution across the team.
• Serve as a trusted coach to senior leaders, guiding them in developing and executing HR strategies that drive business success, enhance organizational performance, and foster sustainable growth through effective people initiatives.
• Collaborate closely with the business to drive employee engagement and retention initiatives, nurturing a culture of trust and high performance.
• Partner with leadership to navigate the complexities of government contracting requirements, providing customized HR solutions with a focus on building trust and alignment.
• Engage with business leaders to guide change management efforts, fostering collaborative thought leadership and empowering teams to navigate transformation effectively.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative HR team environment by promoting professional development, accountability, and shared success.
• Develop trusted narratives using accurate HR data and insights to support strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent.
• Cultivate strong relationships across the organization to manage and support all aspects of the HR lifecycle, including onboarding, assimilation, talent development, performance management, succession planning, and offboarding.
• Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to co-create and execute attraction and recruitment strategies, amplifying talent mobility efforts to meet both organizational and employee goals.
• Lead strategic workforce planning initiatives by analyzing current and future talent needs, identify skill gaps, and partnering with leadership to develop and implement workforce strategies that align with business goals.
• Partner with Centers of Excellence (COEs), including HR Operations, Total Rewards, and Talent Management, to seamlessly integrate initiatives that elevate employee engagement and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide hands-on HR support for proposal efforts, aligning objectives with organizational needs, and leading HR-related contract stand-up activities to ensure smooth onboarding and operational readiness.
• Build connections through site visits (up to 20%) to engage leaders, address local HR needs, and strengthen workforce relationships.
Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of progressive HR experience
• 3+ years previous management experience with a proven track record of building and leading effective teams.
• Demonstrated expertise in government contracting environments
• Proven strategic HR experience with a strong ability to align HR practices to business objectives.
• Strong financial business acumen to partner effectively with leadership and understand business metrics.
• A forward-leaning attitude with a focus on driving growth and innovation in HR practices.
• Active Security Clearance
Desired Qualifications:
• TS/SCI security clearance or eligibility
• SHRM-SCP or equivalent
• Workforce Planning Certification
• Familiarity with Workday systems and analytics
