The Position

Amentum is seeking a Logistics Specialist in Alice Springs, Australia. The position will be based primarily within the Tech Supply Warehouse facility and responsible for coordinating the logistics support of Tech Supply, including warehousing and distribution.

Essential Responsibilities

• Coordinating a designate integrated Logistics Tem to deliver logistics tasks in support of Tech Supply operations and other specified logistics functions such as receiving and disposal of goods.
• Coordinating effective information flow between assigned logistics personnel and management
• Provide a high standard of timely customer-focused logistic supply services.
• Provide a high standard of timely customer-focused logistic supply services and advice in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
• Maintaining procedures for inventory control within the Tech Supply warehouse, and directly managing these functions in a hands-on manner.
• Liaising with Logistics Team Leader to undertake projects to optimize inventory holdings and maintain stock levels.
• Coordinating stocktaking activities within the Tech Supply warehouse.
• Overseeing the storage and handling of material, including the safe and efficient use of MHE.
• Ensuring the effective goods receipts service within the Tech Supply Warehouse, with timely resolution of discrepancies, liaising with procurement personnel as required.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Driver's License - HR endorsement
• Forklift License
