Amentum is actively seeking a Weapons Technician for International Fleet Support of Mk 75 OTO Melara 76 mm Gun Weapon System under the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) PMS 326 Follow-On Technical Support (FOTS) contract. The selected candidate for this role will travel periodically to various foreign countries, including customers in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Compensation
The annual starting salary rate for this position is between $100,000-$135,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Essential responsibilities and daily duties include:
Perform complex overhaul and repairs of Mk 75 gun mounts and associated equipment
Provide field service support of Mk 75 gun mount
Train foreign military personnel in operation and maintenance of Mk 75 gun mount
Perform functions as necessary to support In-Service Engineering Activity (ISEA)
Perform functions as necessary to support Standard Pierside Maintenance and Repair (SPMR)
Groom gun mounts using Intermediate Maintenance Standard (IMS) 7111-201-017 for In‐Service Mechanical Adjustments and Timing (ISMAT) and IMS 7111-201-018 for In‐Service Motor Evaluation Program (ISMEP)
Onsite engineering services to support operational requirements
Provide timely and comprehensive input for the Monthly Status Report
Minimum Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Expert working knowledge of the 76mm Mk 75 Gun System Electrical and Electronic systems, including 7 to 9 years of Naval Gun Systems related experience
Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Passport
Ability to travel internationally Outside Continental United States (OCONUS) and in the Continental United States (CONUS). Ability to work onsite in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, among other locations
Ability to work in arduous conditions OCONUS aboard foreign ships and shore-based industrial worksites
Ability to effectively communicate in all forms.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to obtain a secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain secret clearance.
Physical Requirements:
Requires the ability to regularly lift up to 70 lbs
Requires the ability to regularly climb extension ladders, roof ladder, stepladders, and stairs at least 10 times during shift
Requires the flexibility to bend/stoop, squat repetitive during shift
Requires the ability to regularly kneel repetitively for shift
Requires the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis for shift
Requires the ability to stretch/reach on a repetitive basis for shift
Requires the ability to walk extensively throughout the plant during shift
Requires the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress
Required to sit at times; use hand to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms and climb or balance
Requires normal demands associated with troubleshooting and repairing Naval Gun Systems installed shipboard while in port
Preferred Qualifications
Foreign Military Sales (FMS) experience
US Navy Gunners Mate (GM) or equivalent (E-6 or above) or equivalent USCG/industry experience
