Position Title: Process Engineer

Description of Duties:
The Process Engineer will:
• Play key role in developing Interface Control Document with multiple stakeholders
• Develop and refine systems engineering and configuration management processes, procedures, and methodologies
• Create process documentation, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and training material
• Analyze current state processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Design future state process maps and implementation roadmaps
• Facilitate process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify bottlenecks and optimization opportunities
• Create metrics and reporting frameworks
• Conduct process audits and compliance assessments
The successful candidate will:
• Have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Be detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
• Have effective communication and presentation skills (written and oral)

Basic Requirements:
• Must have 2, or more, years of experience in process engineering, or related field
• Must have experience with process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Must have experience with process modeling tools
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools including Visio
• Must have experience directly related to the support or management of systems in a systems engineering or architecture role/capacity within a DoD and/or Commercial enterprise.
• Must have experience in systems engineering, systems engineering process methodologies and tools.
• Must have experience with systems of systems architectures
• Must have a current DoD Secret Security Clearance
• Must be able to obtain an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI Eligibility
Desired Requirements:
• Have documented experience developing and editing Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF) products for major space and IT systems
• ITIL Level 4 certification
• Have prior experience with Interface Control Documents (ICDs)
• Have prior experience with Fire Control and satellite Telemetry, Tracking & Command (TT&C) systems
• Knowledge of Ballistic Missile Defense System domain
• Experience in the decomposition of complex systems into manageable components.
• Troubleshooting and critical thinking skills related to system dependencies, impacts and sustainability.
This position is expected to pay $100,000 - $135,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
