Hiring Salary Range:

$100,000- $135,000

(Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Amentum is seeking a talented and experienced Program Manager II to support the Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO Submarines), to provide analytical, research, and reporting services.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Program Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the work and authority to commit the Contractor to tasking, work, products, schedules, budgets and specific courses of action and serve as the focal point for subcontractor contracts, if utilized. You will provide overall program management oversight to execute the task order; manage all tasks across all areas of technical performance, schedule, quality and cost; assemble monthly financial reports; prepare and track spend plans; and interact with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR).

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain Secret Clearance.

  • 8+ years of relevant experience with Bachelor's degree; 5+ years of relevant experience with Masters degree.

  • 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, and/or delegating the work of others.

  • Navy or DoD Program/Project Management experience.

  • Excellent communication, leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Familiarity with relevant Navy or DoD policies and regulations.

  • Proven ability to manage complex projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.

  • Experience in budgeting, financial forecasting, and cost control.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders. 

  • Ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks.

PREFFERED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or technical field.

  • 8+ years of experience with Navy Acquisition and/or In-Service Logistics Programs.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Program Management, including the acquisition process, execution of Gate/Milestone Reviews, PDRs, CDRs, and Production Reviews.

  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the budgeting process and financial tracking EVM and other metrics), funding execution, and the contracting process.
