Role Title: Project Manager

Role Description: This role will work under limited direction to perform and achieve moderately complex tasks within an integrated workforce. They will liaise with stakeholders of all levels, building good working relationships and providing a point of contact for all enquiries.

• Perform complex planning and execution of the Project Plans to assure delivery of fit for purpose including management of project/product scope, schedules, risks, budgets and resources.

• Support the Capability Manager with the development and progression of project/product submissions in accordance with One Defence Capability System requirements, eg. gates, reviews, committees.

• Fundamental Input to Capability (FIC) integration and co-ordination through high stakeholder engagement and strong relationships.

• Develop, update and maintain required project/product documentation required to govern the project/product.

• Undertake required Project/Product reporting using applicable management systems,

• Undertake Risk, Issue and Opportunity identification and management.

• Provision of SME guidance /mentoring to Project/Product team members.

Essential Requirements:

• Suitably qualified and experienced in Project or Product Management.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills.

• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• Influencing and negotiation skills.

Salary Range Depending on Experience: $170-180 package

Required Security Clearance Level: Negative Vetting Level 1

Location: RAAF Base Williamtown NSW

Weekly Hours: FT / 40 hours
