Amentum is seeking a Radio Technician located in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Radio Technician ensures that equipment on site is operational and available.


Job Requirements:

  • Maintain Base two-way radios.
  • Monitor performance of Base radio equipment to ensure operational status at 100 percent
    availability.
  • Coordinate the return and repair of defective two-way radios.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the procurement of new radio hardware. Maintain an up-to-date inventory of all Base radio assets
  • Maintain, repair, move, relocate, and install new and existing communication equipment.
  • Perform routine and emergency repairs to support the USG’s mission in a timely manner.
  • Be flexible and available to provide system or equipment repairs at any given hour or day.
  • Program new radios, ensuring correct programs are used for a diverse radio user population.
  • Issue and recover radios to support customer requirements.
  • Perform configuration and management of virtual networks, servers and virtual workstations.
  • Implement administration, troubleshooting, patching, and support of virtual infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with the USG for all planned system outages.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years demonstrated business administration experience.
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Working knowledge of resources (financial) planning, budget, and billing execution.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
  • US Citizen or Naturalized Citizen
  • Must possess an active Top Secret with Poly clearance at time of application.
