Amentum is currently seeking a Senior Special Security Specialist to join our award-winning team.

Your Impact: This position with Amentum is to support the United States Special Operations Command Central (SOCCENT) J2 Directorate. Your fused analysis and assessment will be vital to the decision making of senior leaders. You will witness the impact of your analysis indirectly on the battlefield and through strategic decisions made by our leaders throughout the Intelligence Community.

Responsibilities: The Contractor shall provide timely, cogent, and relevant advice to improve the CI posture of supported activities, ensure intelligence oversight compliance, and accurately document and report CI indicators or concerns. CI Analysts will coordinate and support cross-community meetings and working groups, assimilate large volumes of information, de-conflict information of value between sections, and independently produce reports. CI Analysts shall research, create, develop, and deliver professional multimedia, written reports, and CI products at the operational and strategic levels utilizing multiple CI and HUMINT reporting tools; receive Contact, Lead, and Intelligence Information Reports, participate in reviews, and respond with corrective measures as necessary. CI Analysts will manage source data information within the Integrated Defense Source Registration System as well as participate in Asset Validation Panels and provide accurate, in-depth CI reviews of all active assets. CI Analysts will develop all-source association matrices on individuals of CI interest. CI Analysts will maintain familiarity with signature reduction training standards and processes, assist the command in determining the appropriate use of signature reduction techniques, and ensure all standards are met before signature reduction techniques are applied.

Requirements:

− Minimum of 12 years' experience with evaluating and processing approvals and accreditations for SCIFs/T-SCIFs, Secure Working Areas (SWA), and Temporary Secure Working Areas (TSWA) in a non-traditional environment to perform critical contingency tasks. Experience with managing all the physical security aspects of the SCIF/T-SCIF lifecycle from concept approval, developing and implementing a SCIF/T-SCIF construction security plan (CSP), completing, maintaining, updating, and submitting the Pre-Construction checklist, Preconstruction Fixed Facility Checklist (FFC) and Pre-Construction TEMPEST Checklist to the final FFC and TEMPEST Checklist with TEMPEST Form B for accreditation and reaccreditation, and proper SCIF close-out procedures.

− Extensive experience supporting SCIF planning and accreditation, recertification processes and procedures and familiar with the SCIF construction process as per the ICD 705 standard with Special Access Facility Accrediting Official Course Desired.

− Training Requirements:

− Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) ICD 705 Physical Security Course.

− Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI) Special Security Office Course (SSOC)

− CDSE Introduction to Personnel Security PS113.16.

− CDSE Identifying and Safeguarding Personally Identifiable Information (PII) DS-IF101.06.

− CDSE Physical Security Certification (PSC)

− Obtain within 1 year of appointment: DCSA CDSE Physical Security Certification (PSC)

− Performs random security checks in support of the Special Security Office and observe/document findings and ensure compliance with standard SCIF operating procedures IAW Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 705, IC Technical Specification for ICD/ICS 705 Version 1.5.1 (or successor policy) and related policies.

− Performs random bag entry/exit inspections (EEIPs) for SCIF’s as directed by the SSO Chief

− Performs inspections of SCIF construction projects, existing facilities and modification projects, make recommendations IAW DOD/IC policy with the end goal of achieving or maintaining appropriate accreditations

− Performs duties related to the completion and submission of pre/post construction Fixed Facility Checklists, TEMPEST Checklists and Construction Security Plans (CSP) for SCIFs as required. − (U) Provides the TEMPEST and Physical Security recommendations to the SSO Chief, CENTCOM SSO, DIA, Accrediting Officials, Certified TEMPEST Technical Authority concerning the accreditation of TSCIFs and SCIFs within SOCCENT enterprise.

− Works in conjunction with designated Special Security Representatives (SSR) and assist subordinate commands daily with physical security issues and any inspections and corrective actions that may be necessary

− Reviews, analyzes and develops complex Construction Security Plans through the review of technical drawings, ensuring requirements are met for secure construction projects.

− Ensures only authorized individuals have facility access. Maintains a thorough working knowledge of SOCCENT classified locations and administrative procedures.

− Verifies clearances for all visitors and command members as necessary utilizing appropriate command, DoD and IC systems of record.

− Conducts detailed reviews pertaining to Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Access Control Systems (ACS) and other secure facility vulnerabilities ensuring appropriate mitigations and countermeasures are applied ICW the SOCCENT SSO.

− Gains and maintains access to the Defense Information System for Security (DISS), SOCCENT Electronic Badging and Access Control System (AMAG), Record Message Traffic, and other Command, DoD and IC systems of record, to include successor systems as required.
