    If you are looking to continue your career supporting the world's finest submarine fleet and have experience in the administration and maintenance of Submarine LAN systems, we have the full-time position you are looking for. This immediate opening is in support of our Mid-Atlantic Regional Maintenance Center (MARMC) customer in Norfolk, VA.


    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical assistance, assessment, inspections, corrective actions, and groom support for submarine SubLAN systems

    • Conduct assessments to determine equipment condition

    • Identify parameters that are out of specification and provide recommended corrective actions

    • Observe operation of the equipment by ship's force to witness the full range of performance

    • Operate the appropriate measuring equipment to obtain data for evaluation

    • Evaluate failure/assessment findings and make adjustments and repairs

    • Provide technical support of software/hardware as required to support SubLAN systems, non-SubLAN client support, non-SubLAN laptops and workstations

    • Assist with SubLAN transitions and upgrades

    • Provide On-the-Job training to ship's force as part of the assessment repair process

    • Provide written visit debriefs/reports as required

    Minimum Requirements

    • Specialized experience: Three (3) years of full-time engineering experience in the operation, maintenance, installation, test, and/or repair of submarine electronic systems and equipment; Experience in evaluating the material condition of ship systems and implementing corrective action

    • General experience: Five (5) years of full-time technical experience in the design, installation, test, or repair of electronic systems/equipment

    • Experience must have been obtained while serving onboard U.S. Naval Submarines

    • Ability to travel as required in support of all efforts, est. 30% per year

    • IAT level 2 certification IAW DoD 8570.01M within 6 months of starting

    • Must have an active secret US government clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to maintain a secret clearance
