The successful candidate will coordinate and interface with multiple engineering disciplines, systems elements, and the SPIE Lead Systems Engineer, participating in reviews, meetings, working groups, task teams, and trade studies.

The candidate will support the development and definition of interfaces for the sub-elements and interfaces between Integrated Spacecraft and Payload Element (ISPE) sub-elements, other SLS vehicle elements, and the Exploration Ground Systems (EGS) and Orion spacecraft programs. Candidate will manage the integrated element architecture through appropriate change management processes for documents and/or deliverables which may include, but is not be limited to, interface documents, design definition documents, functional schematics, trade study reports, and other technical briefing/decision packages.

Responsibilities:

Typically, educational requirements are the equivalent of a Masters with at least 3 years of experience, or a BS with at least 5 years of experience.

The candidate is required to have:

  • Experience related to complex systems end-to-end development ranging from requirements development, functional design, hardware integration and verification that will ultimately lead to aerospace systems design certification.
