The Technical Director of Operational Technology is a leadership role focused on ensuring the reliability, security, and innovation of the company’s operational technology landscape. This director collaborates across departments, leads technical teams, and drives initiatives that support both immediate operational needs and long-term business growth.

Responsibilities:

The Technical Director of Operational Technology (OT) leads and oversees the technical aspects of support for technological infrastructure and systems that support the Client facing OT activities. This role is responsible for developing and implementing OT strategies, ensuring system reliability and security, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. The director manages OT teams, drives innovation, and ensures compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Minimum Years of Experience: 8 years

Required Certifications: CCNA



Education/Experience:


  • High School Diploma with 8 years related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree with 6 years or Masters’ Degree with 4 years.
  • Education in Engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related field




Preferred Qualifications:


  • Familiarity with industry standards (e.g., NIST, IEC 62443) and best practices for OT environments.
  • Familiarity with NIST 800-53 and 800-82 standards.
  • Ability to bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Experience in sectors such as manufacturing, energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure is highly valued.

The base salary range for this position is $220,000 to $260,000. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
