Description of Duties:

The Customer Experience Solutions Architect supports the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) on the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) contract. The candidate will:

• Solutions architect that is specifically customer facing. Interacting with customers to capture requirements and align them with offered services and capabilities.

• Lead a small team in designing hybrid computing environments with a combination of on-prem resources in conjunction with commercial cloud providers to meet customer requirements for modeling and simulation.

• Serve as the technical expert and development lead for new business captures requiring unique and innovative solutions to include but not limited to secure data transfers, cross domain solutions, and high performance compute solutions.

• Collaborate and coordinate with appropriate internal and external groups and resources to support solution development and implementation.

• Maintain key partnerships and relationships with customers. May be required to lead and manage a team of architects / analysts to engage internal teams to architect solutions, facilitate solutions design and manage implementations including working with industry leading partners

Basic Requirements:

Must have one of the following combinations of education and experience: HS Diploma (or GED) and 8 years of general experience; Associate degree and 6 years of general experience, Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of general experience, or a Master’s degree and 2 years of general experience

• Deep understanding of cloud tools and technologies, government information security classification and requirements,

• Experience with digital transformation and industry best practices.

• Demonstrate experience in full lifecycle for technology development, customer shaping, proposal, preparation and delivery verification and transition to operations, maintenance and sustainment.

• 20 years of experience as a technical lead, architecting and managing federal technology solutions that are DoD cyber compliant.

• Experience working across on-prem and commercial cloud solutions in all phases of development including requirement gathering, architecture, development, user experience and user interface, deployment and support.

• Experience working in and around the MDA unclassified and classified networks, deploying tools and establishing services.

• Experience with virtualization, data center build out, SaaS product development.

• Bachelor of Science in any STEM field.

Desired Requirements:

• Desired Master’s degree in any STEM field.

This position is expected to pay $170,000 - $185,000 annually; depending on experience, education, and any certifications that are directly related to the position.
