About the Role

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor and working closely with the Senior Maintenance Officer, you will be responsible for:

• Performing installation, maintenance, repairs, and testing of domestic electrical systems, including switchboards and associated equipment.

• Acting as the nominated representative on the company’s Electrical Contractors Licence.

• Ensuring compliance with Northern Territory legislation and Australian Standards.

• Conducting fault finding, repairs, and continuity testing of circuits.

• Coordinating tasks with the broader team and liaising with other stakeholders as required.

• Participating in occasional after-hours callouts when needed.

About You

We are looking for a trade-qualified Electrician who is reliable, safety-focused, and thrives in a team environment.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician.

• A Grade Electrical Mechanic Licence.

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in construction and/or domestic maintenance.

• Ability to act as the Nominee for the company Electrical Contractors Licence (or willingness to complete NT Contractors Examination).

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

• Current Driver’s Licence.

• CPR / Low Voltage Rescue certification.

Highly Regarded (Desirable):

• First Aid Certificate.

• NT WorkSafe High Risk Work Licence – Boom Type Elevated Work Platform.

• Safety training such as Working at Heights, Confined Space Entry, or Lockout/Tagout.
