Amentum is seeking a Software/architect with at least 5 years of experience in software development to support Conventional Prompt Strike (CPS) development teams in Dahlgren, Va.
Junior Software Architect Responsibilities Include:
Providing direct support to the CPS SW lead SPC423 for CPS tasking
Working with Government personnel to ensure alignment of SW development with the overarching SW Roadmap leading to deployment of CPS
Working with government personnel to determine transition paths for the Software Sustainment Activity (SSA) for the following software components: AUR Flight Software, Missile in a Box, Low/Medium Fidelity Simulator, Weapon Control Software
Making plans for the transition of Roles and Responsibilities as determined by SSA Plan and ensure integration into SPC Contracts & Acquisition Plans.
Aiding in generating plans for how to ramp up our software teams to support critical activities in the next few years
Supporting personnel in the development of the SSA Plan to be delivered to SPC at the end of FY25.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years of applicable software development process related experience as well as applicable experience in development and leading software development teams.
Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related degree
