The Maintenance Operations Center Specialist is responsible for monitoring maintenance on assigned aircraft, engines, support equipment, and dispatching of specialist support personnel.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Coordinates priorities on work to be accomplished.
• Maintains current status and location on all assigned aircraft in the MIS.
• Monitors local and Command directed one-time inspections and TCTO’s. Documents changes and deviations to the daily flying and maintenance plan. Documents and dispenses information on weather watches and warnings. Implements and dispenses information in emergency action checklists.
• Prepares daily reports.
• Coordinates off station maintenance support for non-mission capable aircraft. Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must be able to use IMDS (training will be provided)
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel & Word.

Minimum Requirements:

• Employees must be task certified in their current job classification (Vance AFB incumbents).
• Employees must be able to maintain dependable attendance record.
• Must meet one of the following additional requirements:
• (1): Two (2) years satisfactory performance while working as a Mechanic Aircraft SR. in line of progression at Vance AFB, or
• (2): Four (4) years of documented aircraft mechanical experience other than at Vance AFB (DD 214 or employment record).
