Amentum is seeking a Passenger Services Coordinator (ASD) to join our team on Andros Island, Bahamas to support the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC) mission. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process travel requests ensuring compliance with established procedures.  

  • Check in flights producing a weight & balance form within FAA guidelines.  

  • Create and submit the eAPIS (electronic advance passenger information system) file to DHS (Department of Homeland Security).  

  • Coordinate the ground support for all flights.  

  • Work weekend duty on a rotating schedule.  

  • The job involves daily interface with contractor employees, DoD personnel, customers and visitors.

  • Performs all duties as directed or tasked by the Air Operations Department Manager, primary duty location is Andros, however work may be assigned in West Palm Beach.

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

 

Minimum Requirements:

  • 1-3 years related experience working in Passenger Services or Customer Service required. 

  • High school graduate or equivalent.

  • Computer skills in MS Word, Excel, PPT.

  • Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.

  • Required to work Saturday, Sunday and/or Holiday's based on flight scheduling.

  • Ability to handle multiple work assignments, work with little supervision and work well under pressure.

  • Ability to lift, carry, push and pull up to 50 pounds of equipment of varying types.

  • Must have a good attitude, ability to handle delicate relations with passengers as well as the Bahamian airport officials.

  • Good oral and written communication skills.

  • Must be able to reside in remote location with limited medical facilities.

  • A valid US Passport and Driver’s License is required.

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret U.S. Government Clearance. Note: U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Training and FAA experience in dispatch, passenger check in and weight and balance calculations are preferred but not required.

  • Ability to spell, write, type and perform math as related to aircraft scheduling operations, weight and balance computations, checking passenger weights and cargo weights for proper aircraft placement are preferred but not required.

       

Compensation Details:

$21.00
