Amentum is seeking a Supply Clerk to join our team in Hawthorne, Nevada to support the Hawthorne Army Depot. The Supply Clerk will monitor inventory controls logs, schedules, develop and conduct physical inventories, and investigate variances identified of ammunition receipt and storage operations. The Supply Clerk will review all associated documentation with various shipments to ensure accuracy and accountability.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Secret Clearance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitors control logs and registers applicable to receipt, MRO denials, investigations, physical inventory, inventory schedules, quality control programs, ATRs.
- Assists in preparation of ammunition transfer records, local receipts, MROs, etc.
- Monitors the location of all MRO receipts and movement of material scheduled for transfer within the storage and production areas.
- Obtains all required support documentation related to data base changes, prepares appropriate adjustments, and input to LMP. Ensures accurate postings are made to the custodial record.
- Conducts inventory research, audits, receipt control, and release order functions. Processes documentation to change custodial and accountable records, i.e.: post receipts, MROs, ATRs, WRO's grid changes, lot changes, stock number changes, catalog changes, etc.
- Process receipts, asset transfers, shipments, and ammunition movements.
- Requires extensive data entry using the Logistics Modernization Program System (LMP).
- Requires troubleshooting the LMP system, working closely with Munitions Handlers, and supervisors.
- Process time frame tracking and compliance with all applicable regulations maintenance and compliance are critical job requirements.
- Perform all work safely and with the utmost concern for the safety of self and other employees.
- Perform all work in compliance with environmental permits and regulations.
- May be required to work overtime.
- Be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.
- Operates a computer connected terminal device to type documents and reports. Perform general typing and a variety of clerical work of a routine nature, as needed or assigned. Maintain files and distribute LMP reports.
- This person is required to uphold company values (Safety, Diversity, Integrity and Success) as well as perform other duties of the same or lower level of difficulty as assigned. May be assigned occasional duties of a higher level of difficulty than those listed above.
- Maintains high ethical standards, overall values of the business, and the Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct to include cooperating during Company investigations; Responsible for reporting potential and known environmental concerns to the Environmental Service.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older and have a high school diploma/equivalent.
- Must be computer literate in common software and Microsoft office applications and able to operate general office equipment.
- Must be willing to work overtime.
- Must be willing and able to be at work when scheduled and maintain a good attendance record.
- Must be willing and able to work in a procedurally compliant environment.
- Must be willing and able to work in an environmental and safety compliant environment.
- Must be willing and able to wear various levels of personal protective equipment.
- Must maintain fitness-for-duty standards to perform the essential functions of the position, to include any HWAD drill, contingency and/or emergency requirement.
- Ability to speak publicly and communicate clearly during normal and crisis situations.
- Organizational skills and ability to perform detail-orientated work.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license, CAC Card, and appropriate level of government security clearances as well as a clearance.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain Introduction to Ammunition (Ammo 45) Certificate. AMMO 68 (Military Munitions Rule) and various training modules for LMP.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain all required training as outlined in Amentum’s Master Training Plan.
- Must be able to perform work duties, routinely, in a safe and effective manner, remaining alert and aware of potential work/safety hazards at all times, and especially alert while performing safety sensitive duties.
- Must be proficient and accurate with numerical and alphabetical data entry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum of Six (6) months of clerical experience with appropriate typing/ clerical and Microsoft Office Skills.
- Munition Handler or related experience is highly desired.
Safety:
This position is designated as non-safety sensitive position and is subject to the requirements of the HWAD Medical Surveillance Plan and Matrix and the HWAD A&D Program. As a condition of employment, candidates and incumbents must favorably complete a personnel security investigation, urinalysis testing, medical exam and respiratory screening, and must meet and maintain personnel suitability and reliability requirements established by 29 CFR and Army Regulations: AR 190-11; AR 190-13 and DOD Contractors Safety Manual 4145.26.
