Job description Amentum is recruiting for an established
Permit to Work Officer , with at least 7 years of experience, to work on the ITER Project near Aix-en-Provence, France.
He/She will be responsible for:
- Leads a safety role model and prioritizes safety
- Provides competence and discipline within the PTW team
- Ensures that the PTW system is utilized effectively and is fully populated with all data required for nuclear safety compliance
- Acts as a PTW Issuer and Approver
- Manages site Coordinator interfaces through effective dialogue with Tasks Supervisors involved to coordinate all parties - Ensures through daily surveillance that the site is always in an optimum safe and operational state and teams under the PTW scheme are adhering to all principles and controls applied in permit
- You have safety and technical duties and responsibilities.
Essential skills: Leading and embedding a safety culture across the construction teams
Managing processes within a functional area in a compliant manner
PTW management software implementation experience
Taking part in and contributing to site Audits
Analysing Information and defining corrective actions
International PTW experience
Knowledge of the heavy construction industry
Successful operational experience in the management of multiple concurrent activities
Fluent in English (CMA/IO interfaces) and French (work contractors’ interfaces). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with the creative solution and problem-solving skills
General skills: Strong ability to communicate and to provide clear and concise instruction
Very organized and structured
High sense of responsibility
Strong sense of situational awareness and priorities
Candidate criteria Minimum level of education required: Bac +5 and more
More than 5 years of construction and operational PTW Safety experience
