Programme Manager
Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage all aspects of programme delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and compliance with defence industry standards.
- Engage with key stakeholders, including UK and Saudi defence officials, contractors, and industry partners, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Develop detailed programme plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation. Oversee the execution of programme activities from planning to completion.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate programme risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential issues.
- Ensure all programme activities comply with relevant defence regulations and quality standards.
- Manage programme budgets, track expenditures, and ensure financial accountability.
- Lead and mentor a team of project managers and support staff. Foster a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive programme documentation.
Here’s What You’ll Need: - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in programme management within the defence industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
